Beach day is a whimsical story telling series. You will find 3 matching pieces, multi-piece, triptych. I loosely painted these using acrylic paints on small boards.It is an abstract, semi-abstract painting. This one, reveals a boy, man or male character in swimming trunks, carrying his surfboard to its ideal launching place. Painted as a part of a quadruple original , this ink painting by Patty Donoghue can be arranged along a long wall or with its quadtych partners to fill up a wall in a beach or coastal home. These pieces have made wonderful fun, lighthearted pieces as textile pillows or even shower curtains. They are fun and promote smiles to both the man or woman seeking home designs. Each piece has people with beach props such as surf boards, inner tubes, umbrellas and little children making a way for their ocean outing. The people all are moving along the beach line toward their destination. The original pieces are on 4" and are currently for sale.
