Description

This year I have committed to painting abstracts, using shapes. I am trying to limit my subjects to improve skill and imagination. These pieces are fun, relaxing, and meaningful during, the exhausting years of political strife, and Covid, disease. This one is painted using watercolors on paper. I accented the puffs, and blooms, using metallic, black and white, inks. I have added shapes to the wet paper, pressing objects into the paper, lifting pigment. The process is pretty bold and viewers, seem to be approving, of this approach. I hope that you enjoy this colorful piece, and find a place for it, in your home or office. Thank you for viewing.
