Abstract art depicting the impression of a weapon, gun, fighting piece of equipment. Donoghue painted this piece using ink on a synthetic surface, allowing the inks to slide, making creative lines and shapes on the paper. She followed through using ink markings and doodles to add detail and fascination to the imaginary piece. With rivets, netting, grips and other interesting additions this painting presents a fascinating but imaginary military metal, maybe firearm. Donoghue added the blues and golds to soften the mood and presentation of this masculine piece.
