This beautiful hermit thrush bird painting comes at the request of a Black Mountain,NC resident living in the Blue Ridge Mountains. They have a little baby bird that visits each year and comes when she is called. a lovely story of wildlife connecting with humans. It is so nice to have a quiet moment where people actually notice the details and special depth their animal visitors give to them. We usually do not notice these sweet gift moments. The sounds, songs, color and personalities they give is pure, special and wanderlust to the people they entertain. Gods gifts, confidently received. This tiny bird watercolor painting joins the other Eastern United States ornithology study in Donoghue's animal collection.
