A whimsical fun original painting inspired by a Maypole dance turned into a merry go round mayhem storybook scene, when the artist had completed this composition. The ride and its riders, holding onto the ropes of the pole as the strings wrap around and go wild. A carnival ride in a silly mishap. The picture has a tent like appearance with numerous persons and at least one animal, holding on and swinging from the maypole ribbons, The rich bright ink colors of pink blue, and gold add to the fun in this piece which appeals to all ages. The colors make it ideal for a child's space or a nursery, while the detail and silliness make it ideal for a bathroom or powder room.
