This ink painting is inspired by the beautiful milo fields found in western Kansas, in full September bloom. The bright ink colors flow and move, leaving interesting patterns. In the background there are additional fields, power lines and a cell tower. The sky is colorful and extensive as is seen in the plains. Donoghue's Midwest landscape scenes have been featured in several groups.
