The young man is jumping the hill going down a ravine in a race posture. He is serious in his intent, although the colorful surrounding of the artwork bring the energy and outdoors to the viewer. The fun action piece completed in slick slippery ink adds texture to the leaves and rocks like no other medium. Donoghue places the male figure in the scene along with the mechanics of the moving bicycle. The man dressed in a helmet and racing gear add to the serious completion he places himself in the mountain bike, cross country sport.
