Steeples Rise
Artist
Patty Donoghue
Medium
Painting - Cold Wax And Oil Painting
Description
This original cold wax and oil, hand painted abstract landscape scene by Patty Donoghue in colorful pink purple, blue and green, was inspired by the Easter 2019 church, cathedral and Shrine bombings in Sri Lanka. The painting originated as a mountain hillside with the roofs of buildings and remittance of snow while the green starts to sprout early spring. As the bombings occurred the need to cherish the old historic buildings and places of worship grew within the artist, resulting in turning most of the buildings into places of worship. The steeples, crosses and stars scatter through the mountain. The painting represents the multitude of worship structures and beyond that the spiritual faith of the millions that will never be eliminated through hate or terror. The painting is inspiring and a pleasure to view. In its 20x24 original form the colors and textures pop for its viewer. Purchase of prints, canvas, wood, or metal will come out beautifully as the original painting is scanned in high definition resulting in beautiful rich color and clarity. As always all products at Patty's Pixels shop is guaranteed with a full money back satisfaction guarantee.

Thank you so much Inessa. It does have a hopeful theme even though it was painted over tragic events.
