Tanto's Sail - Abstract Art
Artist
Patty Donoghue
Medium
Painting - Ink Painting On Synthetic Paper
Description
I painted this piece, in appreciation for a friend, that passed away, suddenly from Covid-19. My friend was active, energetic, larger than life. He spent 20 years, traveling around the world, in a sailboat. We played Tennis together, and you knew you were his friend, when he gave you a nickname. Mine was Tanto, as he thought my serve looked, more like some one shooting a bow and arrow. He will be missed. I painted this the day I hear of his passing. It helped me to give him homage. It made me think of all of the lost lives, sudden, from this stupid disease. God bless you all and Stay well.
