These dancing Red Crowned Cranes, found in snowy Asia, are love birds, mating for life, dancing in love. Patty Donoghue created this impression style original painting, from, cold wax oil paints. The medium allows for layers, scratching, lines. This painting started on a black fleece canvas surface when teal, turquoise, and white, were applied. The black is mostly scratches and sketch through the medium, with shades of gold, red blue laid on the surface for interest and depth.
