Colorful additions to the flower gallery, these are painted using watercolors on paper. The experiment of wet on wet paints, with a graded background wash, provides a good deal of interest and texture to this simple scene. There are impressions of other flowers, and additional blue blooms in distance. The turquoise shade, resembles that of a bellflower, bell flower.
