Description
This bright colorful ink painting showing two fisherman pulling in a heavy fishing net while on the sea of Gallilee painted by Patty Donoghue is another lively meaningful pieces in her collection. The Christian theme recalls the frequent use of fishing, fishermen in the biblical quotes by Jesus to the apostles. There are a few birds in the sky, the water is purple yellow gold and blue, reflecting the fiery Skys over the famous Israel scene. The sea of Galilee also called Lake Tiberias, Kinnerit is fresh water and it is the lowest freshwater lake on earth. Donoghue makes the famous freshwater lake and Christian theme the subject of her abstract sea painting. The impressionism used in Donoghue's work brings in movement, color and the subject. This original piece has been sold, but the high definition prints can be produced in 30X30 sizes either in canvas, acrylic or metal. A framed print is always a good selection. This piece will work well in an office, as gift for that missionary or minister. The cards are also an excellent Christian selection for the fishers of men. All prints purchased here have a money back satisfaction guarantee.

This is so beautiful, Patty, lovely work! Saw this superb image in the FAA Gallery Home for All Artists Who Create. Your magnificent painting brings back special memories of when I visited Israel and took a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. I love the textures and colors of your magnificent artwork. What an awesome tribute to our precious Savior! F/L

Thank you so much Brian for sharing. I have never been there, only pictures and of course bible stories. I do hope that some of my artwork does give Glory to Our Lord.
