A once dominant staple, to the regions farming industry, tobacco continues to blanket fields and permeate a sweet rich aroma. This painting was inspired by an, art collector. Her story included memories of her Mother joining, pickers, as they topped the tobacco, in the field, of her North Carolina home. Southern living, at its core. Her figure is seen in this painting, The crop is beautiful, and although the Carolina landscape, changes, the old tobacco barns, for drying the big leaves, sprinkle the landscape.
